  • 6-ounce tomato paste – no salt added
  • 1 half of an apple (chopped with skin ok) in high speed blender, or sub with 1/3 cup apple juice and omit the water requirement
  • 1/3 cup water (if using whole apple for sweetener)
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano


Whip all ingredients in a blender.

Yield: 1 cup
