- GREEN INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup water * or 3/4 cup for bowl
- 2 Tablespoons flaxseed meal * (thyroid support)
- 1/2 inch fresh grated ginger *
- 1/2 inch fresh grated turmeric * (or 1/4 teaspoon of dry turmeric)
- 3 liquid drops iodine – 225 mcg (thyroid support)
- 1 Tablespoon dry Wakame seaweed flakes*
- 1 1/2 frozen bananas, sliced *
- fresh mint leaves* – one handful
- dark leafy greens* – one or two handfuls ( great source of magnesium)
- 2 ice cubes
- EXTRA INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup blueberries *
- Brazil nuts *chopped (thyroid support)
- sliced peaches * or favorite seasonal fruit
- plant-based yogurt – one or two generous dollops
1. Add smoothie ingredients in the order listed above and blend.
