My Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • GREEN INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup water * or 3/4 cup for bowl
  • 2 Tablespoons flaxseed meal * (thyroid support)
  • 1/2 inch fresh grated ginger *
  • 1/2 inch fresh grated turmeric * (or 1/4 teaspoon of dry turmeric)
  • 3 liquid drops iodine - 225 mcg (thyroid support)
  • 1 Tablespoon dry Wakame seaweed flakes*
  • 1 1/2 frozen bananas, sliced *
  • fresh mint leaves* - one handful
  • dark leafy greens* - one or two handfuls ( great source of magnesium)
  • 2 ice cubes
  • EXTRA INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup blueberries *
  • Brazil nuts *chopped (thyroid support)
  • sliced peaches * or favorite seasonal fruit
  • plant-based yogurt - one or two generous dollops

Make as a smoothie or a smoothie bowl

Preparation:

1. Add smoothie ingredients in the order listed above and blend.
2. Enjoy!
