Ingredients

  • TEMPEH MARINADE FROM RITA (OWNER OF TRUE JAVA)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 garlic cloves smashed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

With tempeh, lettuce, tomato slices and vegan mayonnaise!

Prep

  1. Steam tempeh block for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove and slice slightly on the bias.

Preparation

  1. Heat 1 1/2 Tablespoons of coconut oil in a cast iron skillet and pan fry until golden.
