Ingredients
- TEMPEH MARINADE FROM RITA (OWNER OF TRUE JAVA)
- 1 cup water
- 2 garlic cloves smashed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
With tempeh, lettuce, tomato slices and vegan mayonnaise!
Prep
- Steam tempeh block for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove and slice slightly on the bias.
Preparation
- Heat 1 1/2 Tablespoons of coconut oil in a cast iron skillet and pan fry until golden.
